Technical Bonnet

This conceptual project, created in collaboration with LA-based artist Katie Mann, offers a contemporary interpretation of the traditional bonnet. Our goal was to explore a modern approach to a historically feminine silhouette, merging historical form with innovative materials.

The bonnets were crafted using outdoor-focused fabrics like lightweight, UV-protective, and water-repellent ripstop nylon. This material choice not only updates the classic bonnet for modern use but also infuses it with practical, performance-oriented features, blending fashion with functionality.
