What is Pocket Design Lab?

Pocket Design Lab (PDL) is my creative space for designing and constructing both real and digital garments that are androgynous in nature.

The name is a double play on the significance of pockets in women’s fashion—where functionality has historically been limited—and the pocket-sized space where I design, sew, and construct everything.

At PDL, I explore the intersection of contrasts: tradition vs. innovation, rural vs. urban, sports vs. art—and how I, as a queer woman, navigate these worlds. Every design I create is shaped by these dichotomies.
