“Where have we been? Where are we going?

Fashion and retail worlds have long been dictated and organized by seasons. Of course our personal styles have been, too. A few months of the year a light jacket may be suitable, a bold lip a signal of colder months.

Climate change, though, has started to obscure the meaning of ‘seasonal.’ With this in mind, how will we adapt? Our weather - its storms and seasons - are increasingly unpredictable, and our style is set to follow suit. Will we embrace the chaos, or be consumed by it?

For this shoot, we utilized a mix of insulating and breathable layers, pieces that transform, as well as makeup that reflects and embraces the environment it finds itself in. We tried to imagine ourselves in the future, inspired by daunting heat and the frigid cold, staying relentlessly cool.”
